Piston extruder BRAUN

The piston extruder BRAUN is a reliable and efficient solution for extrusion processes requiring precision and consistent material flow. With a piston diameter of 80 mm and a stroke of 700 mm, it is suitable for a wide range of applications involving clay, ceramic bodies, or similar materials.

The machine is equipped with a manual piston control and features a single extrusion chamber with useful internal dimensions of 160 mm diameter and 700 mm length. For enhanced usability, it includes a tilting system for the extrusion chamber, simplifying material loading.

This extruder is compatible with die plates and comes complete with a hydraulic power unit (motor power: 3 kW) and a vacuum pump (0.37 kW) to ensure improved material compaction and extrusion quality.

Its compact design (overall dimensions: 1950 x 600 x 1250 mm) makes it ideal for integration into existing production lines or laboratories.

A stock of dies for the production of honeycomb filters for foundries (art. 7932) is also available, specifically suitable for this extruder, allowing the manufacturing of filters in various sizes and configurations, thereby expanding the machine’s application possibilities in the field of molten metal filtration.
