Description
The gas turbo kiln FICOLA mod. F6/14 is a kiln designed for firing ceramic and refractory products at high temperatures, ensuring excellent thermal efficiency, uniform firing, and reliable operation. Thanks to its robust construction and the installation of several new components during the refurbishment process, it represents an ideal solution for production plants requiring high performance.
The kiln reaches a maximum working temperature of 1450°C and offers a useful loading capacity of 6 m³, with useful loading dimensions of 1450 x 2830 x 1400 mm (width x length x height). It is equipped with a flag door and one kiln car fitted with Vulkollan wheels, providing excellent wear resistance and reliable movement during loading and unloading operations.
The internal insulation consists of ASTM 30 refractory bricks on the hot face, ASTM 28 refractory bricks on the cold face, while the roof is built with Z-Block modules made of 1600 °C MAFTEC blanket, ensuring excellent thermal insulation and high energy efficiency.
The combustion system is equipped with 4 burners rated at 140.000 kcal/h each, providing a total burner output of 560.000 kcal/h. The kiln is configured to operate on natural gas (CH₄) and can be converted to LPG if required.
As part of the refurbishment, the kiln will be supplied with a new electric switchboard, a new ABLY mod. TC88 microprocessor, and a new gas ramp, ensuring a modern and reliable control system. The kiln is also complete with a reverse flame chimney installed at the kiln car floor level, promoting uniform heat distribution throughout the firing chamber.
The system operates on a 400 V / 50 Hz three-phase power supply, the standard industrial configuration ensuring reliable and continuous operation.
With a weight of 14.000 kg, the kiln has transport overall dimensions of 3000 x 5000 x 2900 mm (width x length x height). The kiln car measures 1650 x 3000 x 730 mm, while the reverse flame chimney measures 1550 x 1300 x 2580 mm, facilitating transport and installation planning.
